Appreciation Luncheon: Please join us this Sunday, February 5th, after third service in the Fellowship Hall to thank Mike and Marie Gay for all their faithful service leading the Jr. High Youth Group for so many years. Please bring a dish to share.
Women’s Prayer: Formerly on Thurs. at 7pm will now meet Wed. with Corporate Prayer.
Jr. High Youth Group: Calling all 6th- 8th graders, join us on Thursdays at 7pm for worship and teaching. We just started studying the book of 1 John, verse-by-verse.
Premarital Classes: Are you planning to get married by Pastor Chris this year? If so, you will need to fill out a premarital questionnaire and attend our premarital classes. The four-week session starts Sunday, February 12th after 3rd service in Room 105. Or, if you’re married and didn’t have premarital counseling, you’re welcome to “audit” as an Alumni Couple. Call the church office to sign up.
Valentine's Day Social: We'll be having a Movie Night and Dessert Social on Friday, February 17th at 7:00 PM. We'll be showing "Courageous the Movie". Sign up using the flyer or contact the church office.
Calvary Chapel Bowling Night: All ages are welcome to bowl on Sunday, February 19th from 6:00 – 10:00 PM at Frazer Lanes (554 Lancaster Ave. in Frazer; Ph: 610-647-0914). $1 per game and $1 for shoe rental (bowling shoes required). Suggest arriving by 5:45 PM as lanes are open to public and fill up fast.
Baby Bottle Drive: Help save babies’ lives through your involvement in the Baby Bottle Drive for Chester County Women’s Services. Starting today, please fill your baby bottles up with loose change, cash, and/or checks to help fight this tragic battle. CCWS goes into the enemy’s territory and claims life back for the mother, father and child in the Name of the Lord. The collection will be through Feb. 19, please return your bottle to the designated area at the Info Counter.
Men’s Bible Study: Men, would you like to discover your spiritual gift? Please join us for a 14-week Precept Inductive Bible Study on spiritual gifts starting at 7:00 PM on Tuesday February 21st in Room 102. Book costs $27. Classes consist of a review of the homework and will last about an hour and a half.
The Truth Project: A 13-week Focus on the Family DVD Series hosted by Steve and Susan Perkins on Thursday evenings beginning March 1st from 6:45 − 8:45 PM. Space is limited to 12 participants and the cost is $10 for materials. For more information about this series, visit www.thetruthproject.org.
CCCS Slow-Pitch Softball: Forming men’s and/or co-ed teams(s) for spring/summer. Recommended age 16 & over. Typically one game per week (Mon., Tues, or Thurs) from late April through early August. Practices begin March 17. Cost approx. $75 per person. Please sign up at the Info Counter by Sunday, February 26th.
Save the Date: Women's Seminar: This year's seminar will be held April 20th and 21st at the church. If you are interested in helping with this year's seminar, please email womensministry@cc-chestersprings.com. We are in need of servants for registration/administration, hospitality, prayer room, and decorations.
